Cappadocia,
Sailing & Istanbul |
|
On this
tour, we combine three different activities in three
different regions of Turkey: trekking to discover
Cappadocia on foot; cultural visits to discover the
legendary city of Istanbul and cruising to appreciate
the turquoise blue water and to discover the magnificent
Mediterranean coastline.
During thousands years, the landscape of Cappadocia,
covered with soft volcanic ash, underwent an intense
wind and hydraulic erosion which created one of the
strangest spectacles of the world and made monumental
peaks, fairy chimneys, capped pinnacles, cones and
fretted ravines and canyons in a lunar landscape. |

Turkey
is a treasure chest of coves, inlets, bays and sandy
beaches from which boats can choose a different and
always private anchorage each night. On this idyllic
cruise you will feel becoming one with nature sailing
with the wind into coves and across the sea. In a
splendid diversity of luminous landscapes where Lycian,
Greek and Roman remains seem still alive, you will
discover the wild and natural beauty of the southern
coastline on a boat comfortably arranged for cruising.
And, we will spare two full days for discovering the
place, which was successively Constantinople, Byzance
and Istanbul: the richest and the most attractive city
of the country. It is a unique city, built embracing two
continents - Europe and Asia - and it preserves
prestigious monuments, which testify to the richness of
its history. |
