Cappadocia, Mount
Bolkar (Taurus) & Sail |
|
This
tour consists of 3 main parts:
Discover Cappadocia and its outstandingly beautiful
valleys. This vast plateau covered with volcanic ash and
tuff is one of those rare regions in the world where you
will find spectacular surrealistic landscapes of rock
cones, capped pinnacles and fretted ravines painted in
colours that range from warm reds and golds to cool
greens and grey. In this wondrous and unusual landscape
sculpted by Nature you will discover sites of historical
and artistic interest. |
 |
 |
The
flanks of the Bolkar massif, traversed in summer by
nomads, offer splendid hiking opportunities. This is the
second most important massif of the Taurus range, made
of sedimentary material like limestone and dolomites.
The Bolkar massif exhibits very particular geological
characteristics. This tour, with a level accessible to
everyone, will permit you to fully appreciate your
excursion in the fantastic landscapes of alpine plains
while sharing the sedentary life style of the semi
nomads.
Your
journey ends in a comfortably arranged boat on the
southern coast. The paradise viewed on the blue voyage
gives you a unique opportunity to discover incomparable
historical richness while sailing on the turquoise water
of Aegean and Mediterranean Seas. |
